Blaise and Grace: A Celebration of Faith, Family, and Love

Blaise and Grace’s wedding on October 12, 2024 was a beautiful celebration of love, faith, and family. As a wedding photographer, I’ve seen a lot of amazing weddings, but this one really touched my heart. From the moving Mass to the fun-filled reception, every moment was packed with emotion and joy.

THE CEREMONY

Right from the start, you could tell this wasn’t just any wedding. Blaise and Grace are deeply passionate about their Catholic faith, and that came through in every part of their ceremony. The church was filled with over 250 guests, and the hymns during the Mass were so powerful, many people (including me!) were moved to tears. There were also several visiting priests who came to celebrate with Blaise and Grace, and the whole service felt like a reflection of their love for God, each other, and the sacrament of marriage.

Family at the heart of it all

Family was front and center in this wedding. Blaise and Grace had seven flower girls and seven ring bearers, most of them their siblings, which made for such a sweet and personal touch. Watching all the little ones walk down the aisle was one of the cutest moments of the day! You could really feel how much family meant to both of them.

As the photographer, I found myself getting caught up in the emotions, too. Seeing the way both families came together, with so much love and faith, was just beautiful. It was clear that this wasn’t just about two people getting married—it was about two families coming together.

The Reception: A dance party to remember

After the ceremony, everyone was ready to celebrate! The reception was a blast, with the groom’s family getting everyone on the dance floor with a traditional dance that had the whole room moving. There was so much energy and happiness—it felt like one big family party. It was the perfect way to cap off a beautiful wedding day.

A Photographer’s Perspective

As a wedding photographer, it’s always special to be part of someone’s wedding day, but Blaise and Grace’s wedding really hit home for me. The love between them, the support of their families, and the faith that was so important to them all made this wedding feel extra meaningful.

If you're planning a Catholic wedding in Wichita, Kansas and are looking for a photographer who appreciates the role of faith and family, I’d love to help capture your day. Blaise and Grace’s wedding reminded me just how special it is to document these kinds of moments, and I’d be honored to be part of your journey, too.

Blaise and Grace, I wish you both a lifetime of happiness, surrounded by the same love and faith that filled your wedding day!
